Note the line running North to South through the mid-section
of the USA. This line defines the area that typically separates
the use of Evaporative Coolers from Air Conditioning.
Evaporative Cooling is used in many areas West of the Line
except during periods of high humidity. Air Conditioning is recommended
East of the Line as humidity levels are normally too high for
effective operation of Evaporative Cooling. If your area is humid
then look at the 12-Volt Ice Models,
the Alternative to A/C or a Portable 110-volt Air Conditioner.
