Just to let you know I am a local
truck driver here in the valley and my company like many out there
nowadays don't want us to idle when we get stuck somewhere waiting
to get loaded or unloaded. Well today I got stuck sitting at one
of the shippers over in Tolleson for about 4 hours and while my
buddies in the trucks be side me were cookin' I was comfortable

T.D. of Atlanta, GA. called 06/03/2008 to
order additional cooling filters as she purchased a MW1 for her
husband for his truck Sleeper in 2005. When she ordered the MW1
we explained that this type of cooling was not as effective in
a humid area as it is in a dry area. She ordered it anyway and
her husband says it blows cool air while he sleeps plus has saved
a lot of Fuel these past two years. (Other) -[Testimonials]
We shipped another MW1 on June 4, 2008 to
R.N. of Carrollton, GA. as he said even if he gets to use it a
few nights it will pay for itself quickly in Fuel Savings. He
just did not want to deal with the ice as he feels he can normally
get by just fine with the 10 to 15 degree cooler air than just
a fan. If it is too uncomfortable because of higher than normal
heat and humidity he can still crank up the engine.
Normally we would suggest the MK3 for humid
areas as it can be used the same as the MW1
with water only as an Evaporative Cooler. However if humidity
gets too oppressive the MK3 has the advantage of being able to
be used with ice to produce dry Air Conditioned air. The MK3 may
also be used with the reusable ice packs, which are not as effective
as ice, however cool the air more than just water alone.
The MightyKool MW1 utilizes the evaporative system
of cooling and is most effective in dryer climates of the world.
Many Truckers that use this model set it in an area at the foot
of their Sleeper with the window open behind it. Then another
window is opened so that a steady flow of cool air is directed
across the bunk providing a good comfortable sleep.
The MK3 is used in conjunction with an ice chest with either water
only for Evaporative Cooled air like the MW1, however as this
is also an Air Conditioner the windows may remain closed as long

One gallon (3.75 liters) of water will last around two
to three hours in the daytime and four to five hours during the
night when used for evaporative cooling in dry desert climates.
The "Ice Water" models are capable of using up to 20
pounds (9.0 kilograms) of ice per hour during the day and up to
13 pounds (5.9 kilograms) at night.
The MW1 operates for 50 to 80 hours on one battery and the MK3
will operate for 25 to 35 hours on a single battery before needing
charging.
