let you know how pleased we are with our Icemyster IM20. We just
finished driving from Seattle to Oklahoma City by way of the Grand
Canyon. As you can imagine it was in the high 80's and low 90's.
Every time we filled with gas or had a meal, we'd just get another
bag of ice! We are very pleased with its performance. We read
the directions and followed them and had no challenges. My kids
were about 12 feet away in the back of our 18.5 ft motor home
and never once complained of the heat. A very nice piece of 12

I love my IM20. I tried it on a couple of the 100 degree days
we had earlier this month and it really helped. I found that tupperware
make container just about 6 1/2 inches cubed. It makes a perfect
cube to slide into the cooler and lasted about 40 to 45 minutes.

How do the Ice Models
Work?
The innovative IceMystr IM20 combines ice induced Air Conditioning with Evaporative cooling. The cold water rushes through a special Cooling Core to produce air-conditioned air instead of merely evaporative cooled air! The water contained in the IceMystr is cooled by ice or ice substitutes like reusable Freeze Packs which are available in many local stores in most areas. Another great feature is that you can always get cooler air from an IceMystr than a standard Evaporative Cooler, even after the ice melts. This is posible because of the two stage cooling process. A fully charged 105 amp hour deep cycle battery should last from 8 to 15 hours on low or medium speeds without charging.
For over 100 years different methods of blowing
air through Ice always obtained disappointing results & minimal

Here.The Model IM-20 IceMystr has a fully insulated base which holds enough ice to allow from 30 to 40 minutes of air conditioned comfort before adding more ice. Add a small amount of water and the rugged submersible pump lifts the icy water and pressures it through the "custom cooling core" then into the evaporative pad system. When the IceMystr ice supply is depleted you have cooling by evaporation which is effective in the dryer climates. Utilizing the IceMystr dual cooling system you use the ice feature for the humid times in your area or use evaporative cooling alone when the air is dry. A powerful system combining frigid ice water with evaporative cooling adds up to a great alternative to portable air conditioning. The IM-20 is baffled like the T-304, T-154 & IM-30 to keep the water from splashing out when used over rough terrain. The IM-20 evaporative system will cool for four to eight hours on one fill of water (2 gal. / 7.5 ltr.). Incorporating the dual cooling system, by adding ice, typically increases the cooling efficiency for over an hour in dryer climates. You will probably want to accelerate cooling by utilizing the reusable Freeze Packs. It is so easy to slide the cooling unit back from the insulated base, add the Freeze Packs and even your favorite beverage into the insulated base. Slide the cooling unit back, turn on the IceMystr and feel COOL!
How it works: The ice in the base chills
the water. The water is then pumped into a special copper-chilling
core and also through the evaporative pads. The blower motor draws
ambient air through the evaporative pads pre-cooling the air before
it is drawn through the chilling core. After the air is cooled
it is directed outward to cool the occupants. The water that has
been used and not evaporated during this process is then returned
back into the base to complete the cycle. Any excess water may
be easily pumped from the base by using a presurized draining
tube that may be extracted and retracted into the side of the
IM-20.
One gallon (3.75 liters) of water will last around two
to three hours in the daytime and four to five hours during the
night when used for evaporative cooling in dry desert climates.
The "Ice Water" models are capable of using up to 20
pounds (9.0 kilograms) of ice per hour during the day and up to
13 pounds (5.9 kilograms) at night.
A 105 Deep Cycle battery, not being charged, allows the MW1 &
MW2 to operate for 50 to 80 hours and the "Ice Water"
models will operate for 25 to 35 hours. The Swampy Models will
operate about 8 hours as they draw more energy. This makes the
MightyKool Models far more popular for use when the battery is
not being charged at the same time as using a Cooling System.
